Update 6 on Blessing Box

The attached card was left in our Blessing Box this week.  Your donations are making a difference in the lives of hungry people.  Items most needed are canned products with meat in them, such as spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli, etc., as well as canned meat, peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, and spaghetti sauce.  If you are dropping off during the week, you can leave your items in the Blessing Box, or in the drop off box at the drive through on the sanctuary side of the building.  If you are putting items directly in the Blessing Box, we recommend that you make a vertical line with a black marker through the UPC code, including one of the numbers above or below the code.  Please don’t place perishable food in the Blessing Box as it encourages the ants to visit.  You can also place items for the Blessing Box on the cart in the foyer, or in the Missions Room that is now located in the old library.  Cash is also accepted and there is a basket on the cart in the foyer for that purpose.  Cash can also be given to Marilyn Gladden or Theresa Harper and it, along with any cash left on the cart in the foyer, will be placed in a checking account for record keeping purposes. Thank you for your continued help in this outreach to our community.
