Church History 1943-Present Sixty-four years (64) ago a few Christian families armed with a strong faith in God and very little money had the vision of a meeting place where they could worship God together, a vision of training and growth for their children in God’s world, a desire to spread the gospel to others in the community and satisfy a very immediate need to meet and pray together for their sons, husbands, and brothers in World War II. We enjoyed an awesome Vacation Bible School last week with an average attendance of 91 each night, a total enrollment of 110, and 3 children accepted Jesus as their Savior! Springview will be participating in the Baptist Center's back to school mission project called Pack A Pack June 29 - July 13. A supply list can be picked up at church. Churchwide Cookout! On July 5th, there will be a churchwide picnic at 5:00 p.m. at the Pavillion. Bring a covered dish. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks will be provided. Youth Trip... to the Miracle Theater in Pigeon Forge for middle and high school youth on Saturday, July 19. We will leave the church at 11:00 a.m. for a back stage tour then the musical production followed by the buffet at Mr. Gatti's Pizza.
